how we collaborate
We build brand identity systems that carry across every surface a company ships. Visual language, voice, and components designed together, documented properly, and applied to the website and product.

brand identity services
Logo, type, color, and layout built as a system with rules for how they combine. Structured enough to stay recognizable, open enough to extend without permission.
book a call
Decks, one-pagers, templates, and social systems built on the identity rather than adapted to it. Your team ships on brand without a designer in the loop.
book a call
A messaging platform and the guardrails your team writes inside. The pitch, the interface, and the pricing page sounding like one company.
book a call
Logo behavior, product demos, and launch films. Motion defined inside the system, because identities designed static break the first time they move.
book a call
Custom illustration and icon systems for products that are hard to photograph and easy to misread. Visual language that makes a process legible in a glance.
book a call
Launch and go-to-market creative that runs on the brand instead of departing from it. Every campaign compounding recognition rather than spending it.

how we work
Built around what the business needs to do next, the brand develops in the open, adapts as you grow, and holds together at any size. One standard, applied everywhere, maintained after launch.

"Founders arrive asking for a logo, and that is a fair place to start. But the logo is the smallest decision we make together. What matters is what the brand refuses to do, because that constraint gets inherited by everyone who joins after us.
The rest is making it usable. Rules specific enough to apply without us, open enough to extend without permission. An identity is working when your team ships something nobody briefed us on and it still looks like you."

"AI compresses the parts of the work that shouldn't need senior craft. What it doesn't do is decide what to build, why it matters, or how it should feel in a founder's product. We hold that line when we use AI in the studio. And we hold it when we build AI into your platform.
AI has to earn its place in the interface. Not a demo, not a wrapper. A feature that makes the product genuinely better for the person using it."

frequently asked questions
How long does a brand identity project take?
3-5 weeks from kickoff to rollout for most engagements. Scope, the number of applications, and how quickly feedback comes back are what move that number. If you are working against a launch or a raise, we scope a compressed version openly rather than quietly dropping stages.
How much does brand identity design cost?
Branding engagements at Outcraft start at $5,000. Scope sets the number from there. A focused visual identity sits near the bottom of that range, while a full system with messaging, collateral, and motion runs higher. We scope in one call and quote a fixed number before anything begins, so there is no hourly meter and no change order for the thing you assumed was included.
What is included in a brand identity project?
A logo suite, typography and color systems, layout rules, applied templates, and written guidelines. Depending on scope it also covers messaging, illustration, motion, and campaign creative. Everything ships as editable source files you own outright, with nothing locked behind our tools or our availability.
When does a company need a rebrand rather than a refresh?
A refresh fixes how it looks. A rebrand fixes what it means. If the guidelines have quietly stopped being used, or your deck and your site no longer look like the same company, that is drift and a refresh will hold it. If you have changed market, audience, or business model, the position underneath has moved and new assets will not close the gap.
What happens after the brand launches?
Most partners keep us on for applied work as the company grows, new markets, new products, new campaigns. That runs as a monthly retainer. The alternative is a clean handover with documentation written for whoever picks it up next, which is how the system is built either way.
