AI is part of how we work every day. From exploring visual directions and running accessibility audits to generating first drafts of code, copy, and technical documentation. Faster output on the mechanical work. Senior attention on the decisions that shape your product.

From AI-assisted workflows to generative features and intelligent automation, we help founders build AI into their product in a way that adds real value. Clear, useful, and defensible. Not a wrapper. Not a demo. A feature.

"AI compresses the parts of the work that shouldn't need senior craft. What it doesn't do is decide what to build, why it matters, or how it should feel in a founder's product. We hold that line when we use AI in the studio. And we hold it when we build AI into your platform.
AI has to earn its place in the interface. Not a demo, not a wrapper. A feature that makes the product genuinely better for the person using it."

frequently asked questions
Do you use AI to design our brand or product?
We use AI to compress the mechanical parts of the work. Exploring visual directions, running accessibility audits, generating first drafts of code and technical copy, structuring research. The strategic and creative decisions still happen in the room, with senior humans holding the standard. AI accelerates the how. It doesn't decide the what.
Can you design or build AI features into our platform?
Yes. This is a growing part of what we do. We work with founders shipping generative features, intelligent automation, AI-assisted workflows, and chat interfaces. The approach is the same as any product work we ship: clear, defensible, and adds real value to the user. Not a demo. Not a wrapper. A feature.
What about data protection and privacy when you use AI?
We only use AI tools with enterprise privacy commitments and zero-training-on-input policies. Claude, GPT-5, Cursor, and Figma AI are all used on paid plans that don't train on our inputs. When we work on your project, we never paste sensitive user data, credentials, or unreleased strategic material into consumer AI tools. Our internal policy is documented and reviewed on every engagement.
Does using AI mean the work is cheaper, or lower quality?
Neither. AI lets us spend more senior attention on the decisions that shape your product. Not less. Our pricing reflects the quality of the thinking, the seniority of the team, and the outcome we're on the hook for. It doesn't reflect how many hours got spent on the mechanical parts. Because that's not what you're paying for.
Who owns what you create with AI tools?
You do. Everything we ship is delivered as work-for-hire under contract, with full IP ownership transferred to you on delivery. Where AI tools were used in generation, we hold to the same ownership terms as any other tool in the studio. AI-generated content is human-directed, human-reviewed, and human-approved before it leaves the studio.
How do you handle AI Act compliance?
For clients operating in the EU or serving EU users, we work with your legal team on EU AI Act classification during the discovery phase. For most product features, the compliance work is transparency and user disclosure. For higher-risk systems, we scope the work up front and coordinate with specialist counsel. If you're not sure which category your product falls into, we can help you figure it out on a discovery call.
How do you handle customer data in AI tools?
We don't. Customer data is your responsibility, not ours. When we build AI features into your platform, we architect them so your customer data never touches consumer AI tools. Production AI features route through enterprise APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure) with data-processing agreements, or through your own infrastructure. In discovery, we spec the data flow, the retention policy, and the fallback behavior before we build.
