The work moves in a rhythm you can plan around so easily.

Every cycle runs two weeks. If your team already works in sprints, the rhythm will feel familiar. Each one moves through three phases: Decide, Do, and Demo. Every cycle runs two weeks. If your team already works in sprints, the rhythm will feel familiar.

Two ways to work together

Most founders start with a Brand Sprint before their next raise. Product Design Retainer is for teams with a solid identity who need ongoing product design.

Your questions, answered

How long does a brand identity project take?

3-5 weeks from kickoff to rollout for most engagements. Scope, the number of applications, and how quickly feedback comes back are what move that number. If you are working against a launch or a raise, we scope a compressed version openly rather than quietly dropping stages.

How much does brand identity design cost?

Branding engagements at Outcraft start at $5,000. Scope sets the number from there. A focused visual identity sits near the bottom of that range, while a full system with messaging, collateral, and motion runs higher. We scope in one call and quote a fixed number before anything begins, so there is no hourly meter and no change order for the thing you assumed was included.

What is included in a brand identity project?

A logo suite, typography and color systems, layout rules, applied templates, and written guidelines. Depending on scope it also covers messaging, illustration, motion, and campaign creative. Everything ships as editable source files you own outright, with nothing locked behind our tools or our availability.

When does a company need a rebrand rather than a refresh?

A refresh fixes how it looks. A rebrand fixes what it means. If the guidelines have quietly stopped being used, or your deck and your site no longer look like the same company, that is drift and a refresh will hold it. If you have changed market, audience, or business model, the position underneath has moved and new assets will not close the gap.

What happens after the brand launches?

Most partners keep us on for applied work as the company grows, new markets, new products, new campaigns. That runs as a monthly retainer. The alternative is a clean handover with documentation written for whoever picks it up next, which is how the system is built either way.
